A Vision for 2025: Strengthening Our Chapter and Empowering Our Members
As we step into a new year, I am both honored and excited to serve as your President for the PMI Madison/South Central Wisconsin Chapter. This chapter has a rich history of supporting project management professionals, fostering community, and driving growth. In 2025, my vision is to build on that foundation by strengthening our chapter, empowering our members, and fostering collaboration to ensure we continue to thrive as a vibrant professional community.
Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Progress and Resilience
First, I want to express my gratitude to our outgoing board and volunteers for their dedication and contributions in 2024. From successful events and new initiatives to fostering connections within our community, their hard work has paved the way for an even brighter future. Thank you for your commitment to advancing the profession and supporting our members.
Looking Ahead: Key Initiatives for 2025
This year, we are focused on providing more opportunities for professional growth, networking, and knowledge sharing. Here are just a few highlights of what’s to come:
- President’s Open Office Hours: A monthly session designed to foster open communication. These sessions will be a space where you can share ideas, provide feedback, and discuss any questions or concerns. I encourage you to join me and be part of the conversation.
- Enhanced Programs and Events: Look forward to an exciting calendar of chapter meetings, professional development day, and networking opportunities. Our goal is to deliver impactful experiences that meet your needs and inspire you to grow.
- Volunteer Opportunities: Our chapter thrives because of the passion and energy of our volunteers. This year, we will focus on recognizing contributions, engaging new volunteers, and building leadership pathways.
Embracing Trends in Project Management
As we navigate the ever-changing landscape of project management, our chapter remains committed to equipping you with the skills and insights needed to stay ahead. This year, we will explore topics like artificial intelligence, agile transformation, and sustainability in project management. Stay tuned for blog posts and events that dive into these emerging trends.
Get Involved: Make 2025 Your Year of Engagement
As we embark on this journey together, I encourage you to take an active role in our chapter. Attend events, volunteer, share your ideas, and connect with fellow members. Your voice and participation are what make our chapter strong and dynamic.
Together, we can achieve great things in 2025. I look forward to connecting with you at our first President’s Open Office Hours or one of our upcoming events. Let’s make this a year of growth, collaboration, and impact.
Thank you for being part of this incredible community.
Warm regards,
Rodney Wendlandt
