Advancing Project Management Together

Dear Members and Friends of PMI Madison/South Central Wisconsin,

As we step into 2025, I am filled with excitement and optimism about the opportunities ahead for our chapter and the project management community we serve. Guided by our mission, core values, and a renewed strategic focus, we are poised to make this year a transformative one for professional growth, member engagement, and community impact.

Our Mission: A Commitment to Excellence

At PMI Madison/South Central Wisconsin, our mission is clear: to be the premier project management organization in the Madison area. We are committed to providing opportunities for professional growth through educational programs, networking, and support for our members.

Core Values: The Heart of Our Chapter

Our core values define who we are and how we operate:

  • Make It Easy: Simplifying processes and access for our members.
  • Aim Higher: Striving for excellence in everything we do.
  • Be Welcoming: Creating an inclusive and supportive community.
  • Embrace Curiosity: Encouraging exploration and innovation.
  • Together We Can: Recognizing the power of collaboration and teamwork.

These values are the foundation of our actions as we work to elevate the project management profession and support each of you in your journey.

Strategic Priorities for 2025

To ensure we meet the evolving needs of our members, we’ve established clear strategic priorities for the year ahead:

  1. Foster Professional Development and Lifelong Learning
    • We are committed to delivering at least 10 high-quality professional development events that address diverse member needs and promote career growth.
  2. Elevate Member Engagement and Deliver Value
    • Our goal is to achieve a 15% increase in event attendance by enhancing event value and accessibility, ensuring that every member finds opportunities to learn, connect, and grow.
  3. Cultivate Volunteer Engagement and Leadership Development
    • Volunteers are the backbone of our chapter. In 2025, we aim to reach a cumulative total of 1,000 volunteer hours while offering at least two leadership training sessions to empower our chapter leaders and volunteers.
  4. Strengthen Marketing and Brand Awareness
    • By increasing our LinkedIn followers by 20%, we aim to amplify our online presence, engage members, and showcase the value we bring to the project management community.
