Building a Stronger Chapter Together

As your chapter president, I’m excited to share our vision for 2026 and how together we can strengthen our professional community here in Madison and South Central Wisconsin. Our chapter exists to support your growth as project management professionals, connect you with peers across industries, and provide meaningful opportunities to learn, lead, and contribute.

Elevating Member Engagement

This year, we are focused on creating more ways for members to connect, learn, and grow. From professional development workshops and certification prep sessions to networking events and webinars, our goal is to provide experiences that truly deliver value. For example, we aim to increase event attendance by at least 25% and grow online engagement by 20%, so more members can benefit from these opportunities. Your participation helps us build a stronger, more vibrant chapter that serves everyone.

Cultivating Volunteer Leadership

Volunteers are the backbone of our chapter. By contributing your time, skills, and ideas, you help shape the programs and initiatives that benefit all members. In 2026, we are focusing on:

  • Recruiting new volunteers and onboarding them effectively
  • Providing leadership development opportunities for those ready to take on more responsibility
  • Recognizing all active volunteers for their contributions

These efforts ensure we have a sustainable leadership pipeline and that every volunteer feels valued and empowered to grow professionally.

How You Can Get Involved

Whether you’re a member looking to expand your skills, a volunteer seeking leadership experience, or someone interested in mentoring, there’s a place for you in our chapter. Sign up for an event, join a committee, or become a mentor—your engagement makes a difference. Together, we can create programs that meet our members’ needs while strengthening the chapter’s long-term impact.

Looking Ahead

Our chapter’s 2026 objectives are aligned with PMI:Next and the Catalog of Core Services, ensuring that we continue to deliver measurable value to members, volunteers, and partners. By participating, sharing feedback, and contributing your skills, you help us make our chapter more dynamic, inclusive, and impactful.

Let’s make 2026 a year of growth, connection, and leadership—together!
