Presentation: Little by Little, Doing Big Things with Agile
Venue: in-person at Harley-Davidson of Madison
Join us on June 30th at Harley-Davidson of Madison for our first in-person Chapter Meeting since the beginning of the pandemic. Niel Magsombol will be talking to us about: Little by Little Doing Big Things with Agile while we all enjoy a buffet dinner, socialization, networking and cash bar.
What's in it for you?
Project managers are traditionally urged to “lock the requirements and hit the date!” The PMBOK talks about “Progressive Elaboration”, which acknowledges that we won't know everything upfront. If you are a traditional Project Manager, you have probably been hearing an increased buzz about Agile. Organizations choose Agile because of the ability to manage change. Project managers and scrum masters adopt an agile mindset, focus on value delivery, customer collaboration and key deliverables as they respond to change instead of following a rigid plan.
At tonight's chapter meeting, Niel helps us to explore where project management fits within an Agile framework while we learn the Lean principles and practices that help us focus our team on delivering incremental pieces that lead to maximum customer-value.
