Annemarie Foundling, Ph.D.
Annemarie started her project management career in Science, when she studied Protein Crystallography for her doctorate thesis and then later expanded into mainstream Information Technology companies. She joined Madison/South Central PMI Chapter in 2008 when she volunteered as Marketing and Registration Lead for Professional Development Day 2009. Then in early 2014 Annemarie was voted onto the Executive Board as Vice President of Professional Development, leading Programs, Educational Events and Mentorship teams and expanding opportunities locally for the chapter members. This year, she was voted into President-Elect role for the chapter. Her multi-year Agile experience started in American Family Insurance, continued in QBE Insurance, and more recently with the Retirement Services teams at Cuna Mutual Group, she got in-depth experience in Scaled Agile Framework SAFe. She is currently an agile coach and IT Manager for Corporate Applications and Commercial International teams, where she works with several teams to improve efficiencies on their agile journey.
Scott Kaeppel , Agile Coach and Scrum Master
Scott is an Army veteran, who graduated from University of Wisconsin Madison in 1982 with a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He worked for 31 years as a design engineer for various companies and started working in Agile and Scrum in 2013.Scott was an integral part in Agile transformation at Renaissance Learning in 2013 and is a past member of Agile Alliance – Attended Agile Conference in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016. Scott is trained as a Certified Agile Practitioner through PMI
Paula Riesch. , PMP, SPC4 Senior Agile Coach
Paula Riesch is a Senior Agile Coach at CUNA Mutual Group. In this role,
she is responsible for promoting agility at all levels of the organization and
helping teams be successful with agile practices.
Riesch joined CUNA Mutual Group in 2017, providing agile coaching,
mentoring and training to facilitate the organization’s on-going agile
Prior to joining CUNA Mutual Group, Riesch led the successful
implementation of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) at a regional health
insurer, and provided agile leadership to two Madison-based software
Prior to starting her own agile-focused journey; Riesch spent many years
providing leadership to traditional PMOs, programs and projects and will
never ‘go back’ to traditional waterfall project delivery methods again.
