Three 3 classes in 1 course all delivered virtually in 3.5-hour blocks, with the opportunity to earn up to 28 PDUs! The classes and schedule are:
GR8PM Lean Fundamentals (1-day, 2 Sessions at 03:30PM on Thurs/Fri, 09/10 - 11) –
Learning the Lean principles and practices that help you focus your team or organization on the flow of customer-value increases reliability, sustainability, and quality. Lean thinking supplies guidance for achieving the organization’s business agility transformation towards. This class uses a “whole system” that integrates improvement across all of the organization’s value streams. Students learn how to eliminate
waste, reduce the cost of delay, increase quality, obtain rapid feedback and respond in effective and efficient ways. A variety of learning methods are used including game theory, simulations and group discussions to reinforce and extend retention of the principles and practices learned.
GR8PM Agile Fundamentals (1-day, 2 Sessions at 03:30PM on Tues/Weds, 09/15 - 16) –
Cutting through the noise and clutter surrounding Agile in order to truly understand core Agile principles and practices, this class integrates content from the Amazon #1 Best Seller, The Agile Almanac Book 1, as it helps you focus on if, when and how Agile can help your team and organization create better project outcomes. The class uses an integrated, immersion approach so students learn how to clarify customer needs and wants, accurately describe and define work, and rapidly delivery results. It demonstrates how customer feedback can be used to respond effectively and efficiently to reach the best outcome. A variety of learning methods are used including game theory, simulations and group discussions to reinforce and extend retention of the principles and practices learned.
Disciplined Agile Lean Scrum Master- DALSM (4 Sessions at 07:30AM on Tues - Fri, 09/22 - 25) -
Training and certification with tools and strategies to help leaders of agile teams effectively influence people and remove impediments, in the real-world by tailoring teams Way of Working (WoW). Students learn to optimize productivity and continuously improve teams within the context of the enterprise and its culture. Recommended for those seeking detailed insight of how agile works, those wishing to hone existing Scrum Master skills and those needing to lead an agile or lean team in an enterprise setting. Participants earn the Disciplined Agilist designation and, after passing the Disciplined Agile Certification Exam, are also awarded the Certified Disciplined Agilist (CDA) designation.

**These (3) classes are integrated into one (1) course. The two 1-Day classes – Lean Fundamentals and Agile Fundamentals – are optional for students with prior training such as Lean Green Belt or Scrum Master certification. The 2-day DALSM class is required for all students. Each class day (7 hours) is also valid for 7 PDUs, for a potential of 28-hours (28 PDUs).
