As a local manufacturer of hardware products – most of which run software inside – Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) finds ways to get nimble despite the significant constraints in the world of hardware development.  Come take a brief tour of a world leader in visual environment technologies quietly hiding in our own backyard.  Then hear stories of challenge and triumph in project management and participate in Q&A with the panel. 

1300+ employees conduct the majority of ETC’s design and manufacturing in Middleton and Mazomanie.  From light fixtures, computerized lighting control boards, and power distribution equipment, to scenery and lighting hoists for stage, control systems for complicated multi-space buildings, and emergency egress lighting, ETC products are found in theaters, convention centers, houses of worship, casinos, corporate headquarters,  studios, museums and just about every other type of facility where people gather in number.
